Community Conversations for Opportunity and Support

As we work to create a safe and more inclusive community we are hosting a series of roundtables that are designed to foster collaboration, provide essential resources, and empower individuals in need. Discussions on available resources and support programs. Opportunities for employment, social services, and personal development. A supportive space to share your voice and needs insights from community partners and local organizations. If you are a woman aged 20-30 on government assistance or a parolee seeking community reintegration – you need to be involved.

Through our community roundtables we specifically focus on:

Support
for Parolees

Working with the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC), we aim to assist individuals in reintegrating into society by providing access to vocational training, mentoring programs, and social services. These efforts ensure that returning citizens are equipped with the skills and resources necessary for successful reentry.

Empowerment for Women on Government Assistance

We recognize the unique challenges faced by women aged 20-30 who rely on government assistance. Our roundtables will connect them with job training, educational opportunities, and community support networks. By partnering with organizations like Michigan Works, Washtenaw Community College, and the Department of Health and Human Services, we aim to create pathways to financial stability and personal growth.

Collaborative
Engagement

Bringing together key community stakeholders – including local businesses, healthcare providers, social service organizations, and law enforcement – we are committed to holistic and sustainable solutions. These roundtables will serve as a platform for innovation, sharing ideas, and implementing programs that uplift our community.
